Canto del Fiume è una struttura situata nell'antico paese di Raggiolo, che si trova in Casentino, provincia di Arezzo, Toscana. Dal 2015 Raggiolo è stato riconosciuto come uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia. Situato alle pendici del monte Pratomagno, è un paese di origine medievale, forgiato dal tempo e dalle generazioni passate, ed oggi è meta di villeggiatura specie nei mesi estivi per il clima mite. Arroccato sugli scogli della montagna, offre una vista mozzafiato sulla valle, con il Monte Verna sullo sfondo. Le abitazioni sono in pietra locale e le stradine del paese si percorrono soltanto a piedi. Questo consente di vivere una vacanza in un contesto quasi irripetibile, dove il silenzio e la quiete regnano sovrani. Nessun rumore o auto disturberà il vostro soggiorno, solo il lontano mormorio del fiume e il cinguettio delle rondini... "Canto del Fiume" è frutto di una meticolosa opera di ristrutturazione di un antico complesso all'interno di un paese di origine medievale e si compone di tre appartamenti indipendenti dotati di cucina e bagno. Ogni appartamento ha una propria area esterna attrezzata con ombrellone e tavolo. La struttura "Canto del Fiume" ha le caratteristiche di un piccolo borgo all'interno del paese di Raggiolo, è recintata e pertanto si rende sicura sia per i ragazzi che per gli animali domestici. Gli ospiti hanno a disposizione un'area verde con vasca idromassaggio e un pergolato in grado di accogliere a tavola almeno sedici persone. Tutte le strutture esterne sono in condivisione. Canto del Fiume - "Song of the River" is located below the village square and consists of three apartments, called Ciucola, Purgatory and Pauline. The apartments are named after forgotten words, that were used in the past. In front of the village circle, near the square, there is a wall where all these old words were carved. Ciucola was the lizard, Pauline was the ladybug, while Purgatory is the name that distinguishes that area of the village. This ancient house gave birth to an important ecclesiastical figure, Monsignor Cesare Zacchi, who worked to spread peace and to promote reconciliation between peoples. During his pastoral life he carried out important activities in Vienna, Belgrade, Bogota and Cuba, where he remained for twelve years from 1962 to 1974. During this time the complicated relations between church and state improved thanks to his tireless commitment.
